Congratulations to Mrs. Baxter for winning a Math 180 Teacher of the Year Award this morning. She was awarded as one of 70 nationwide to receive this prestigious award! Out of thousands of teachers, she was one of the winners! She was the ONLY Math 180 Teacher of the Year in Indiana!
She was recognized alongside her students for their hard work in the program. All of the students received a certificate, called up by name to get the award and a giftbag of goodies. Additional awards were given to students for the number of Quantile growth and sessions completed in the program. Many of Mrs. Baxter's students will no longer need math 180 next year due to her pushing them forward and building their confidence in math. The love that the students showed Mrs. Baxter was amazing. It doesn't happen often that struggling math students love their math teachers this much, but it was evident today!
